What is Anxiety?

Anxiety is a feeling of worry, fear, or unease about what might happen. It’s a natural reaction to stress, pressure, or perceived danger. While it's normal to experience these feelings from time to time, managing them can be challenging.

Causes of Anxiety

Everyone has feelings of anxiety at some point in their life. For example, you may feel worried and anxious about having a baby, sitting an exam, going to a job interview or on a first date. Major life changes and every day situations can trigger anxiety, depending on how they affect you. Additionally, heavy workloads and job-related stress can also contribute to anxiety, impacting your overall well-being. Sometimes, there may not be a clear reason for your anxiety, which can be frustrating. At Total Wellbeing Luton our expert therapists are here to help you work through these feelings.
